Dull, Dirty Marble Floors
Well-maintained marble floors can make a positive impression, especially in an entryway. Unfortunately, entryways are notoriously higher in foot traffic than other areas of the home. This marble floor with granite inlays in Mid Hudson Valley, NY had become dull, dingy, and had dirty grout lines. The homeowners contacted us for a free estimate on marble restoration services.
Our Marble Refinishing Process
First, we masked and protected the floors adjacent to the marble floor. Then, we honed the stone to remove surface damage. We replaced the diamond pads on the floor machine with progressively finer grit diamond pads, eventually achieving a luxurious high gloss polish. We also deep-cleaned the grout lines and applied an impregnating sealer to inhibit staining.
The homeowners were amazed at the results.
